Founder and CEO of
Mental Management Systems
At the 1972 Olympic Games, Lanny Bassham failed in his attempt to win the Gold Medal in International Rifle Shooting. He had a mental failure resulting in his taking the Silver instead. Frustrated, Lanny wanted to take a course in controlling the mind under pressure. After looking for such a seminar and not finding satisfaction, Bassham began to interview Olympic Gold Medalists to discover what they were doing differently to win.
What he discovered was game-changing. Bassham created a system of mental control he called Mental Management®.
During his shooting career, Bassham won 34 World and Olympic medals for the USA, ranking him third in total medal count among all shooters. He has set 64 National Records, set four World Records, won 17 Individual National Championships, three individual CISM Military World Championship titles, four Individual World Championship titles, Olympic Gold and Silver medals, been inducted into the USA Shooting Hall of Fame, and is the author of "With Winning in Mind.".

Steve Anderson is a USPSA Grand Master and teaches competition pistol shooting full time.
